What is GPS Share Web?
GPS Share Web is a free, temporary, real-time GPS location sharing service that runs entirely in your mobile browser. You can create a secure room link, send it to friends, and coordinate in real-time without installing any app or registering an account.
Is registration or payment required?
No registration or payment is required for standard usage. GPS Share Web is designed to be lightweight, ephemeral, and private. Just open the website, create a room, and start sharing instantly.
How is my location privacy protected?
Privacy is our priority. Every room has a preset duration (from 15 minutes up to 6 hours). Once the room expires or you manually end sharing, all location data is permanently deleted from our database. We do not store any historical tracking logs.
Why does the location update stop sometimes?
Mobile operating systems and browsers have strict battery-saving policies. If you open the link inside in-app browsers like LINE or WeChat, location sharing may pause when you lock your screen or switch apps. We highly recommend tapping the menu icon and selecting "Open in default browser" (Chrome or Safari) for a continuous, stable sharing experience.
